Sketchbook of Thoughts.

My name is Nathan Atkinson and I am new to the realms of photography and I am using Tumblr as my sketchbook of thoughts. I hope you enjoy!

ALL PHOTOGRAPHS HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY MYSELF, UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED.
Just to give everyone an idea of how the previous picture looked as it is quite mind boggling.

Taken at Guildford Cathedral. This picture is of a skylight within the Cathedral and with the use of editing software i increased the shadows to give a very weird effect as if i can either look on top of the box or look through the box. Think its a really cool abstract photo.

Same day with the extreme winds down the beach. Loved how the waves were breaking against the groins.

Captured on a seriously windy day. Some of the waves were even larger but i struggled to keep myself standing straight, let alone get a photo of the waves. Was taken on a 75 - 300mm lens. Love how the wave has broken here and displays all the spray.

This picture was taken pretty far out at sea using my 75 to 300mm lens enabling me to capture this cool photo of the two fisherman hard at work.

Visiting the De La Warr Pavilion today, loved how cool the stairwell looked from the ground floor.

Not the best quality photo, but it was the first photo my new 75 - 300mm lens took. I was standing pretty far away and was impressed how close up it got from such a distance.

What i liked about this photo, is that it looked pretty cool its ‘normal’ way round but as soon as i flipped it, it had this very mysterious look with all the cloudy looking patches and cool looking reflections, which make it quite eye boggling to me but as soon as you flip it back round it all makes sense. Was taken on my new 550d with my 18 - 55mm lens.

After finally managing to get the exposures etc correct, im finally reasonably pleased with the photo!
